Mumbai, May 9 (IBNS): Nargis Fakhri who will next be seen essaying the role of former cricketer Azharuddin's second wife, Sangeeta, in Balaji Motion Pictures and Sony Pictures Networks' Azhar , has been advised bed rest by her doctors on account of ill health.
Exhaustion has taken a toll on the actress, who has been working around the clock and promoting the film.
Nargis will now have to skip the last leg of the campaign and the makers and her co-stars have been extremely supportive and accommodating, as they do understand that her health is top priority.
Says a source , "Nargis despite being unwell has been going all out and promoting the film. Her doctors now have strictly advised rest as she has been working around the clock .She also had to cancel out a couple of promotional events in Dubai due to ill health and has had to now cancel Delhi. The actress also fainted on the sets of the film's Oye Oye song shoot and has been battling with ill health for a while."
"However, being the professional she is she has tried her best to keep with all her commitments. The cast and the crew along with the producers have been very understanding and have told Nargis to rest and recuperate as that's the first priority. In the meanwhile the team of Azhar will go ahead with the promotions but Nargis will have to give the last leg of the campaign a skip on account of ill health," the source adds.
