Mumbai, Oct 16 (IBNS): Director-producer Karan Johar on Tuesday sent out a nostalgic tweet while reminiscing his debut film Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, which turned 20 years old.

The film starred several Bollywood a-listers, including the likes of Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol, Rani Mukerji and Salman Khan (in a cameo appearance).

Karan, who is the son Yash Johar, the late producer and the founder of Dharma Productions, and the nephew of legendary producer-director Yash Chopra, who founded Yash Raj Films, took to Twitter to thank the cast for indulging 'a 25 years old boy with stars in his eyes'.

"I can’t believe it’s been #20YearsOfKKHH ! A film that gave me love ,acceptance and a career....will always be eternally grateful to @KajolAtUN @iamsrk #rani and @BeingSalmanKhan for indulging a 25 years old boy with stars in his eyes! Thank you for all the love," Karan tweeted.

The film, which has since acquired a cult status among cinegoers, is regarded as one of the best Bollywood romantic movies of all time.
