Kriti Sanon becomes lead protagonist in Rahul Dholakia's next film

Mumbai, Jun 19 (IBNS): Actress Kriti Sanon has been picked as the lead protagonist in filmmaker Rahul Dholakia's next project.

The film is yet to be titled. It has been written by Bilal Siddiqi and will be produced by Sunir Kheterpal along with Dholakia.

Dholakia, who had directed superstar Shah Rukh Khan-starrer Raees, will shoot the film in one schedule from August.

Film critic Taran Adarsh tweeted, "IT'S OFFICIAL... Kriti Sanon to to play the lead protagonist in #Raees director Rahul Dholakia's new film [not titled yet]... Will be shot in a start-to-finish schedule from Aug 2019... Written by Bilal Siddiqi... Produced by Sunir Kheterpal... Rahul is co-producing also."

Sanon 28, acted in films like Heropanti, Raabta, Bareilly Ki Barfi, Luka Chuppi in her career.

She will also feature in upcoming Hindi films Arjun Patiala, Housefull 4 and Panipat. The actress will essay the role of a reporter in Arjun Patiala.
