Indian actor Ali Faisal to feature in international movie Victoria and Abdul

Mumbai, May 31 (IBNS): International movie Victoria and Abdul will feature Indian actor Ali Faisal.

 

Faisal had featured in popular Bollywood movies like Fukrey and 3 Idiots.

Faisal will be seen sharing screen space Oscar-winning actress Judi Dench.

BBC Films tweeted: "Watch the trailer for #VictoriaAndAbdul starring Judi Dench & @alifazal9. In UK cinemas 15th September."

Actor Fazal also shared: "So here it is folks- with love - https://m.youtube.com/watch?feature=youtu.be&v=3xo-EP_O5pQ … #victoriaandabdul #VnA @UniversalIND @FocusFeatures @HardlyAnonymous."

Victoria and Abdul is an upcoming British-American biographical drama film directed by Stephen Frears and written by Lee Hall.

It is based on the book of same name by Shrabani Basu, and on the real-life relationship between Queen Victoria and her Indian servant Abdul Karim.

The film stars Judi Dench, Ali Fazal, Eddie Izzard, Tim Pigott-Smith (in his last film role), and Adeel Akhtar. Focus Features will release the film on Sept 22.
