Mumbai, Feb 11 (IBNS) Funnyman Jaaved Jaaferi will be next seen playing a pivotal role in upcoming rom-adventure ‘Ishq Forever’, portraying a kind of character he has never played before.

Talking about his role in the film, Jaaved said, “I will be seen playing a RAW agent, who is deployed to protect the daughter of the Prime Minister of India and what was intriguing for me was that I play a very serious character. I will be shown teaming up with my ex-wife (Lisa Ray) for this mission and the uncomfortable situation that arises because of this is another plot that runs simultaneously with the love story of the lead pair.”

Jaaved will be seen mostly wearing slick three-piece suits in the film.

Directed by Sameer Sippy and produced by Ajay Shah, Himanshu Gandhi and Shabeer Boxwala under their banner Friday Cine Entertainment, ‘Ishq Forever’ is slated to release on February 19.
