Farhan's character in Dil Dhadakne Do raises assumptions

Kolkata, Dec 20 (IBNS): Bollywood actor Farhan Akhtar who received allocades for his performance as the 'Flying Sikh' in Bhaag Milkha Bhaag, will soon be seen among the multi-starrer, ensemble cast of Dil Dhakdakne Do.

Directed by Zoya Akhtar, Dil Dhadakane Do will also feature Priyanka Chopra, Ranveer Singh, Anushka Sharma, Anil Kapoor and Shefali Shah in prominent roles.

Since, Farhan's character in his previous movie, Bhaag Milka Bhaag, was based on the life of Milkha Singh, the former Indian field sprinter, there are assumptions that his character in Dil Dhadakne Do might have a 'real-life connect' too.

He has previously worked in a multi-starrer movie 'Zindangi Na Milegi Dobara' and held his ground among actors like Hrithik Roshan and Abhay Deol.

Previously, he played the role of an actor in Luck By Chance. Farhan then went on to play a singer in the hit film Rock On, a poet/writer in the film Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara.

The actor then portrayed the role of Milkha Singh in an autobiographical film Bhaag Milkha Bhaag. He was seen as a fitness enthusiast.

He will also be seen portraying a cop in the movie 'Wazir'.
