Fans relieved as Amitabh Bachchan’s hospital visit turns out to be routine checkup

Mumbai/IBNS: Fans of acting legend Amitabh Bachchan were left concerned after reports claimed the 83-year-old superstar was admitted to hospital on Tuesday night.

However, an ETimes report later clarified that Bachchan had visited Nanavati Hospital in Mumbai only for a routine medical checkup.

The veteran actor is reportedly doing well.

Returned home after monthly checkup

According to the report, Bachchan returned home after completing his monthly health checkup at the hospital.

The actor has been dealing with stomach-related complications ever since his accident on the sets of the film Coolie.

Busy work schedule continues

On the professional front, Amitabh Bachchan is currently shooting for the sequel to Kalki 2898 AD.

He will also be seen in filmmaker Ribhu Dasgupta’s courtroom drama Section 84.
