Bollywood actor Dilip Kumar turns 95, celebrities wish him on birthday
Mumbai, Dec 11 (IBNS): Bollywood actor Dilip Kumar, known for his charismatic performance in numerous movie in his career, on Monday turned 95.
Kumar is undergoing treatment for pneumonia.
However, Bollywood celebrities took to Twitter to wish the actor on his birthday.
Singer Lata Mageshkar posted: "Namaskar.Aaj mere rakhi bhai Yusuf Khan (Dilip Kumar) sahab 95 saal ke ho rahe hain.Main unko bahut badhaai deti hun,wo hamesha swasth rahein aur unki aayu lambi ho yehi meri Ishwar se prarthana (Today my Rakhi brother Yusuf Khan (Dilip Kumar) has turned 95. I pray for his good health and hope for his long age.)"
Megastar Amitabh Bachchan said: "Two maestros ! Iconic picture .. Raj Kapoor and Dilip Kumar making music !! Love and admiration .. for their immense contribution to Indian Cinema."
He shared an image of Kumar and Kapoor together on his Twitter page.
Actor Anil Kapoor wished Kumar and said :"My father always referred to @TheDilipKumar ji as Yusuf Saab...Here they are together, the two great influences in my life in one frame! Wish you a very happy birthday Dilipji! I grew up watching your films & your friendship with my father & both were inspirational! Lots of love!"
Actor Farhan Akhtar posted: " @TheDilipKumar Aadaab Yusuf saab, saalgirah mubarak.. wish you good health.. lots of love & utmost respect."
Dilip Kumar is known for acting in some memorable Bollywood movies like "Kohinoor", "Mughal-e-Azam", "Shakti", "Naya Daur" and "Ram Aur Shyam".
