Big B lend his voice for Namami Brahmaputra festival's theme song

Guwahati, Mar 15 (IBNS): Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan has lent his voice for the theme song of the Namami Brahmaputra festival, which will be held in Assam from March 31 next.

Assamese and Bollywood singer Angarag Papon Mahanta directed the music of the theme song of the mega cultural festival.

Big B has posted few pictures during the reconding of the song in his twitter account.

Angarag Papon Mahanta said that, the recording of the theme song was completed on Tuesday and the song is scheduled to be released on March 17.

The cultural festival will be held in the state from March 31 to April 4 on the mighty river from Sadiya to Dhubri  covering 21 districts and will showcase the cultural heritage, art of the region.

The opening ceremony of the festival will be inaugurated on March 31 at the riverfront of Bharalumukh, Guwahati.

The event will include a soulful veneration of river Brahmaputra along with other attractions like indigenous sports, local food, exhibition of organic tea, display of handloom & handicrafts, cultural evenings, film festival, business meetings and symposium among others.
