'Bhopal: A Prayer for Rain' is tax free in Madhya Pradesh

Mumbai, Dec 8 (IBNS): Among a list of films that released Sunday, the historical-drama set amidst the real-life Bhopal disaster 'Bhopal: A Prayer for Rain' has won the hearts of the audiences, critics and industry veterans.

The film released all over the nation today and has been made tax-free in Madhya Pradesh.The film has impressed everyone with its ace story, brilliant acting and melodious tracks.‘Bhopal: A Prayer for Rain’ depicts events leading to the biggest man-made industrial disaster in history, which killed as many as 10,000 people in the first 3 days.

Director Mahesh Bhatt praised the film, “Bhopal: A Prayer for Rain has awed many Bollywood stars and film critics alike. The film is a heartfelt look at India’s worst industrial disaster. A must watch for all”.

Bollywood’s exotic actress Priyanka Chopra tweeted, “A film that shouldn't be missed... @BhopalAPrayerForRain releasing today. India’s biggest publication, India Today, gave the film a three and a half star rating with Rohit Khilnani saying, “This is a story that needed to be told”.Rediff.com gave the film a four-star rating saying, “Bhopal: A Prayer for Rain, is an honest yet haunting film. The images of those who suffered will stay with you for quite some time”.Komal Nahata said, “A Truly moving Film. It takes you to Bhopal for 90 minutes. Watch it & recommend it further!”Giving the film three-stars KoiMoi says, “This film is a must watch if you wish to know the plight of Bhopal residents, who are still fighting for justice”.

Some of leading Bollywood websites give the film four-star rating, Bollywood Country said, “Ravi Kumar’s melodramatic recreation of the Bhopal gas tragedy, said to be the worst industrial disaster in the history of civilization, has an instant and lasting chemical reaction”. Bollywood Life had to say similar things about the movie - “Bhopal: A Prayer for Rain movie review: Ravi Kumar’s melodrama has many highs and lows with a touchy plot”.Telly Chakkar also said, “Bhopal: A Prayer for Rain - disturbing, timely and hard-hitting”.

Receiving three and a half star rating from Box Office Capsule and a review saying, “Bhopal: A Prayer For Rain A True Representation Of Important Chapter OfHuman History”.

‘Bhopal: A Prayer for Rain’, directed by Ravi Kumar and produced by Sahara Movie Studios and Rising Star Entertainment released in India on December 5, 2014, exactly 30 years after the tragedy occurred.
