Mumbai, Oct 30 (IBNS) What if a group of Hijras want to launch a start-up in a town in India? What if an illiterate housemaid finds out that her son is gay? What happens when a young boy expresses to his mother the desire to wear a sari during Navratri? Would two Marathi actresses be comfortable with a romantic scene in a film?

These questions are dealt with in the films that are being screened this Saturday at Indian Institute of Technology Bombay as part of the
‘Best of KASHISH event organized by Saathi-IIT Bombay and KASHISH Mumbai International Queer Film Festival.

What is unique is that all the four films to be shown are in Marathi (with English subtitles) and boast of some of the most well-known actors from Marathi film industry – Dilip Prabhavalkar, Mukta Barve, Chhaya Kadam and Sanyogita Bhave.
