Ayushmann Khurrana starrer Badhaai Ho collects Rs. 66.10 cr in one week

Mumbai, Oct 26 (IBNS): Actor Ayushmann Khurrana starrer Hindi film Badhaai Ho has collected Rs. 66.10 crore at the Indian box office in one week since its release.

The film was released on Oct 19.

Film critic Taran Adarsh tweeted, "#BadhaaiHo hits the ball out of the park... Proves all calculations and estimations wrong... Puts up a SUPERB TOTAL in its extended Week 1... Thu 7.35 cr, Fri 11.85 cr, Sat 12.80 cr, Sun 13.70 cr, Mon 5.65 cr, Tue 5.50 cr, Wed 5 cr, Thu 4.25 cr. Total: ₹ 66.10 cr. India biz."

Not just Ayushmann, Badhaai Ho has a strong casting which include Dangal star Sanya Malhotra, Neena Gupta, Gajraj Rao, Sheeba Chaddha and Surekha Sikri in pivotal roles.

Being a comedy-drama, Amit Ravindernath Sharma directorial Badhaai Ho revolves around an elderly lady's unexpected pregnancy which embarrasses her son (played by Ayushmann), particularly in front of her fiance and would be mother-in-law.

Sanya played the role of Ayushmann's onscreen fiance.
