Amitabh Bachchan,Jaya Bachchan completes 44 years of togetherness

Mumbai, June 3 (IBNS): Megastar Amitabh Bachchan and his wife Jaya Bachchan have completed 44 years of togetherness.

It was on June 3, 1973 when the two actors had tied the nuptial knot.

Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan, one of the most loved couples of Bollywood, had together worked in several movies like Bansi Birju and Ek Nazar.

Celebrating the occasion, Amitabh Bachchan shared a pictures of himself with his wife on Twitter.

He captioned it: "T 2443 - June 3, 1973 .. 44 years of marriage .. thank you all for the wishes you send .. grateful and filled with love .. !!"

In 2001, Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan had worked together in Karan Johar directed movie Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham.

The film also featured  Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol, Hrithik Roshan and Kareena Kapoor in leading roles.
