Amitabh Bachchan remembers Sholay as it completes 41 years of release

Mumbai, Aug 15 (IBNS): Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan remembered the release of one of the most popular Hindi films of his glorious movie career, 'Sholay', as it completed 41 years.

Sholay had hit the silver screen on Aug 15, 1975.

"41 years of #Sholay .. released 15th Aug," Big B tweeted.

Directed by Ramesh Sippy, Sholay is considered to be one of the most popular films in the history of Indian film industry.

The film had featured few of the biggest names of the Hindi film industry of that period.

Actors Sanjeev Kumar, Bachchan, Dharmendra, Amjad Khan, Jaya Bachchan and Hema Malini joined hands in making Sholay a memorable film for movie lovers across the globe.
