Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor's Brahmastra to release next summer

Mumbai, Apr 27 (IBNS): Film lovers need to wait for an year to see Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor's major release Brahmastra.

Makers of the movie on Saturday said the movie will release during Summer 2020.

Dharma Productions' multi-starrer project Brahmastra, whic is directed by Ayan Mukherji, also features superstar Amitabh Bachchan.

Explaining the reason behind delaying the release of the movie, director Ayan said in a statement that in order to deliver his vision, his VFX team would need more time, leading to a delay in the film's release.

The movie is considered as a major B-town release.

The official logo of the movie was released during Kumbh Mela in March.
