Akshay Kumar's 'Toilet: Ek Prem Katha' earns Rs. 30 crores at BO

Mumbai, Aug 13 (IBNS): Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar's latest released movie 'Toilet: Ek Prem Katha' has earned Rs. 30 crores at the Indian Box Office till Saturday.

Film critic Taran Adarsh tweeted: "#ToiletEkPremKatha Fri 13.10 cr, Sat 17.10 cr. Total: ₹ 30.20 cr. India biz... ₹ 48 cr [+/-] weekend on the cards... SUPERB... #TEPK."

The movie hit the silverscreen on Friday.

Produced by Viacom 18 Motion Pictures, KriArj Entertainment, Neeraj Pandey, Plan C Studios,and Cape of Good Films LLP, Toilet Ek Prem Katha stars Akshay Kumar and Bhumi Pednekar.

The film has been directed by Shree Narayan Singh.

The movie is considered as one of the major releases of the year.
