Actress Nafisa Ali diagnosed with cancer, Sonia Gandhi meets her

Mumbai, Nov 19 (IBNS): Bollywood actress Nafisa Ali has revelaed to her fans that she has been diagnosed with stage 3 cancer.

She revealed the information on social media.

In an Instagram post, Nafisa also shared an image with former Congress chief Sonia Gandhi.

 

Nafisa said Sonia Gandhi has wished her speedy recovery from the disease.

Nafisa had made her Bollywood debut in late Shashi Kapoor’s Junoon movie in 1979.

In recent times, she was seen in movies like Yamla Pagla Deewana and Tigmanshu Dhulia’s gangster drama Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster 3.

Nafisa is currently a member of the Congress party.

She had also served as the chairperson of the Children’s Film Society of India in 2005.

Bollywood and cancer this year:

Several Bollywood actors have been diagnosed with the disease this year.

While Sonali Bendre is undergoing treatment in New York, actor Irrfan Khan is being treated for the disease in London.
