Mumbai, Nov 17 (IBNS): Actress Mallika Sherawat was attacked by masked intruders in Paris last weekend, foreign media reports revealed.

However, Sherawat's Twitter handle contained no relevance of it.

According to reports, she was tear-gassed and beaten up by masked intruders.

As per her Twitter feed, Sherawat had been in Geneva on Nov 12, a day after the foreign press says she was assaulted in Paris.

"In #Geneva #Switzerland for the weekend, wanted to share with you one of my favorite places:) #lifestyle #weekendvibes #lareserve," she tweeted on Nov 12.

Police is reportedly investigating into the matter.
