Actress Alia Bhatt tests COVID-19 positive

Mumbai: Actress Alia Bhatt has tested COVID-19 positive.

She made the announcement by posting a message on Instagram.

She said she isolated herself after testing positive.

"Hello all, I have tested positive for Covid-19. I have immediately isolated myself and will be under home quarantine. I am following all safety protocols under the advice of my doctors. Grateful for all your love and support. Please stay safe and take care," she wrote on Instagram story as quoted as saying by media.

She will soon be seen in Gangubai Kathiawadi, RRR and Brahmāstra.

The 28-year-old actor was currently filming for Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Gangubai Kathiawadi in Mumbai. Notably, Bhansali too was infected with COVID-19 earlier in March, however, tested negative after some weeks.
