Actress Malini Sharma had set hearts racing in 2002 film Raaz and remained absent from Bollywood for the past 23 years, only to reappear on social media to leave her fans stunned.

At one point of time in her career, she was repeatedly seen in popular music videos, TV and then in Raaz, but she decided to quit Bollywood at that point when her career was rising significantly.

She follows a completely different career now. Away from Tinseltown, the gorgeous beauty now stays in the Sahyadri Hills and runs a homestay in the picturesque location.

According to media reports, she grows her own vegetables and cooks foods for her guests.

Recently, she began to trend online after appearing in a video for a page known as  The Slow Local Diaries where she updated about her latest career.

With no makeup and sporting grey hair, Malini wrote in the caption: " Facing the camera again after very long... this time the real me, no makeup, no dialogues, shooting from the heart."

In the video, she said: " Hi, this is Malini, facing the camera again after 23 years of Raaz. For those of you wondering where I disappeared, well, I am alive. I am here to present The Slow Local Diaries."

Those who grew up in the 1990s, can best remember Malini appearing in the  Bombay Vikings' video titled Kya Soorat Hai.

She also appeared in Mika Singh's Saawan Mein Lag Gayi Aag.
