Action heroes on the cards for Shruti

Mumbai, Oct 27 (IBNS): Looks like actress Shruti Haasan is promising an "action" packed 2015as she will be seen acting opposite three major action heroes of B-Town in her forthcoming films.

She will be seen in 'Gabbar' opposite Akshay Kumar, the action superstar, 'Welcome Back' opposite John Abraham and 'Yaara' opposite Vidyut Jammwal.

Says a source, "All three films have a unique space from a storyline point of view and fall within different genres, the one common thread they all have is Shruti. She has chosen quite an eclectic bunch of films so that her versatility is showcased true to form."

"Another common thread in all these films is the link that connects all three of Shruti's co-stars - action and stunts, even though each are known for their individual styles and their positioning in the industry - Akshay being the superstar fighter and daredevil, John being the beefy macho man and Vidyut being the young generation's crusader of combat based action without cables or doubles based on his extensive martial arts background," the source adds.
