In fact, Dishoom is the first film in the industry that was conceived as a franchise film.
Sequels are only possible when the first film is a super hit among the audiences which has happened in all the cases with Sajid Nadiadwala.
Moreover, sequels are mostly profitable as the audiences are more aware of the film prior to release and there is a high level of excitement for the project already.
It is not all easy to handle so many sequels under one banner as the expectations are higher from the sequel.
