Turkish Minister Solaiman Salu reviews Rohingya camp in Bangladesh

Dhaka/UNI: Turkish Home Minister Solaiman Salu has reached Bangladesh's Cox's Bazar to review the Rohingya camp.

The Turkey's Interior minister is leading a 20-member delegation to inspect the Rohingya camp, including a field hospital run by the Turkish government and various agencies.

Salu was received by Enamur Rahman State Minister for Disaster Management and Relief at Cox's Bazar International Airport.

Chittagong Divisional Commissioner Kamrul Hasan, Cox's Bazar Deputy Commissioner Mamunur Rashid, Superintendent of Police Hasanuzzaman and officials of Turkish Embassy Bangladesh were also present at the airport.

Later, he would be leaving for Dhaka to meet important officials including the Home Minister and Foreign Minister of Bangladesh. They will be holding discussion on various issues including security, trade, information technology and bilateral cooperation.

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan is scheduled to visit Dhaka this year.
