Zeya tweeted: "It was a pleasure to meet last week with Norzin Dolma, Kalon of the Central Tibetan Administration’s Department for Information and International Relations. I look forward to working together on our shared priorities that advance the wellbeing and future of Tibetans worldwide."

The meeting took place on Thursday.

DIIR Secretary Karma Choeying, Representative Namgyal Choedup and Secretary Tashi Dhondup from the Office of Tibet accompanied Kalon in the meetings at the State Department, reports CTA website.

This is Kalon’s first official visit abroad after taking oath on 10 November 2021, and the first in-person meeting of a leader of the Central Tibetan Administration with Under Secretary Zeya.
