Taliban gunmen kidnap six people in Afghanistan

Kabul, July 24 (IBNS): Taliban gunmen have kidnapped six health workers from Dawlatyar district of western Ghor province in Afghanistan, media reports said on Tuesday.

Public health director Dr. Juma Yaqobi told Pajhwok Afghan News that the Taliban abducted the six people along with an ambulance while returning from Lal wa Sarjangal district’s hospital.

The kidnapped people reportedly included three women medical students.

Police have launched their efforts to rescue the abducted people.

Taliban has not commented on the issue so far.
