Taiwan's Ministry of National Defence recently tracked seven Chinese naval vessels and five military aircraft around Taiwan between Sunday and Monday, media reports said.

Of the five People’s Liberation Army (PLA) aircraft, one flew into the southwest corner of Taiwan’s air defense identification zone (ADIZ), according to the MND, reported Taiwan News.

During that time, no PLA aircraft crossed the Taiwan Strait median line.

In response, Taiwan sent aircraft and naval ships and deployed air defence missile systems to monitor the PLA activity, the news portal reported.

In this month, Taiwan has so far tracked Chinese military aircraft 301 times and naval vessels 165 times.
