Security forces thwart explosion plan by terrorists in Kabul city

Kabul, Oct 28 (IBNS):  The Afghan National Police Forces have thwarted a plan by anti-government armed terrorists  to detonate a magnetic bomb in Afghanistan's Kabul city, media reports said.

The Kabul Police Commandment in a statement said late on Saturday evening that a magnetic Improvised Explosive Device was discovered and defused before the militants manage to detonate it in the 5th police district of the city, reported Afghanistan-based Khaama Press.

According to the statement, the mine was planted on a roadside in Niaz Bek area in the 5th police district of Kabul.

No group has commented on the issue so far.
