Pakistani security forces thwarted three coordinated attacks launched by suspected terrorists in Mach town on Monday.

The terrorists reportedly launched the attack with rockets and weapons.

At least one policeman was reportedly martyred while a truck driver injured in the assault, Dawn News reported

Balochistan’s caretaker Minister for Information Jan Achakzai attributed the attack to terrorists affiliated with the Aslam Acho group, responsibility was later claimed by the Majeed Brigade of the proscribed Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA), the newspaper reported.

Security forces immediately rushed to the spot and the gun battle occurred for several hours.

No damage was caused to the installations.

“The terrorists have now retreated, and our security forces are currently in pursuit. We remain hopeful that all threats will be eliminated before dawn, by the grace of God,”  Achakzai said.
