Pushpa Kamal Dahal appointed as Nepal PM for third time

Kathmandu:  Chairperson of CPN - Maoist Center Pushpa Kamal Dahal was appointed as the  Prime Minister of the new post-election government on Sunday, media reports said.

President Bidya Devi Bhandari on Sunday appointed him as the PM.

He will now serve as the PM of the country for the third term.

He was appointed as the PM as per Article 76 (2) of the constitution of Nepal, after receiving Dahal's claim to the seat, backed by as many as 169 Members of the House of Representatives, The Himalayan Times reported.
