Police official, top TTP terrorists killed during Mardan operation in Pakistan

A senior police official was martyred and three others, including a DSP, were injured during an intelligence-based operation that led to the killing of two top TTP commanders in the Katlang area of Pakistan's Mardan district on Tuesday.

The deceased police official was identified as Superintendent of Police (SP) Ijaz Khan.

The slain terrorists were identified as Hasan Qadeer Yousafzai, alias Mohsin Qadeer, and his aide Abbas alias Essa, reported The Express Tribune.

They were reportedly part of the TTP Haris group.

The deceased cop's body and other injured people were shifted to Mardan Medical Complex (MMC) and another medical facility in the area.
