PkMAP members demonstrate against raid on Achakzai’s home in Pakistan's Quetta

Pashtoonkhwa Milli Awami Party (PkMAP) members recently took out a rally in Pakistan's Quetta city over the raids conducted on the residence of its chairman Mahmood Khan Achakzai.

The Quetta district administration claimed to have recovered a piece of government-owned land, “illegally occupied” by the PkMAP chairman, during the raid, reported Dawn News.

PTI, which has named Achakzai as its presidential candidate, also condemned the raids.

Protesting the raids, the lawyers community did not appear in the district court and even observed a strike.

A large number of workers and supporters, carrying party flags, placards and banners, participated in the rally, which was led by PkMAP central leaders Dr Hamid Khan Achakzai, Lala Rauf and Abdul Qahar Wadan, reported Dawn News.
