Lahore, Pakistan: The Lahore Police in Pakistan have registered a case against two security guards, and also arrested one of them, on the charge of allegedly attempting to rape a girl who came to Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore to watch a Pakistan Super League (PSL) match, media reports said.

According to the first information report (FIR), registered by police on the girl’s complaint, she had come to Gaddafi Stadium with her father and brother to watch a PSL match.

The girl alleged that she had lost the path near Nishtar Sports Complex and sought help from two security guards standing nearby, but they led her to a dark place and allegedly attempted to rape her,  24NewsHD TV channel reported.

Her screams, however, alerted her brother and father who came for her rescue, the news channel reported.

Police identified the accused as Zia and Shahid.
