Pakistan: Three terrorists killed during Peshawar operation

Peshawar: Pakistan security forces killed three terrorists during an operation Pakistani city of Peshawar on Monday, media reports said.

The operation was jointly conducted by the Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) and police personnel.

The police relayed that terrorists, on seeing the personnel, opened indiscriminate fire on them and in the ensuing shootout, three militants were killed, ARY News reported.

The killed terrorists were involved in heinous crimes, including targeted killing of security forces and other acts of terrorism, the police told ARY News.

One of the deceased terrorist was identified as Suleman.

Arms and ammunition were seized from the terrorists.
