Pakistan: Police arrest man for selling his underage daughter for child marriage
Jacobabad: Pakistan police have arrested a man for allegedly selling his underage daughter for child marriage.
The incident took place in Jacobabad where a father wanted to get his 12-year-old girl married to a man in exchange for Rs300,000, reports Geo News.
The police stopped the marriage and arrested the father.
The groom, however, escaped.
A case has been filed in connection with the incident.
