Pakistan: Nine killed in road mishap

Islamabad, Oct 21 (UNI) Nine people of same family died tragically on Monday in a collision between an ambulance and a fast-moving trailer in Mianwali, Multan, Pakistan.

According the reports here, the accident took place at Mianwali's Head Pakka, where gas cylinder of the ambulance exploded, due to which nine people of the family riding on it died.

Three women and three children are among the dead.

According to the information received, a patient was being taken from Bhakkar to Rawalpindi for treatment in the ambulance. Rescuers arrived at the scene after the accident and took the dead bodies to DSQ Hospital.
