Pakistan: Karachi building collapse after gas cylinder explosion leaves three dead

At least three people died and 13 others were hurt after a residential building located in Pakistan's Karachi city collapsed following a gas cylinder explosion on Monday.

Police Surgeon Dr Summaiya Syed confirmed the casualties and injuries to Dawn.com.

She said the condition of four wounded persons was critical.

Police said the deceased people were between 30 and 50 years.

The injured people included children.

Rescue officials and police reached the spot after the mishap.

Rescue operation is currently underway.
