Pakistan: Fire in Islamabad house leave 10 injured

Islamabad, Jan 5 (IBNS): A house caught fire in Pakistan's Islamabad city on Friday, leaving at least 10 people injured,media reports said.

The injured people included children.

According to media reports, the fire incident occurred due to  a gas leakage in the Loi Bhir area of the Pakistani city.

Station House Officer (SHO) of Loi Bhir police station Mehboob Ahmed told DawnNews that the house, situated in PWD area of Loi Bhir, caught fire due when the residents tried to light a gas stove that was left turned on overnight.

Fire fighters reached the scene of the incident and brought the blaze under control.

The injured people were rushed to Pims hospital for treatment.
