Pakistan: Awami National Party leader, brother killed in explosion

Islamabad, Oct 27 (IBNS): Pakistan's Awami National Party (ANP) leader Abdul Razzak was killed in a blast that rocked country's Shahrag Tehsil of Balochistan's Harnai District on Friday, media reports said.

The leader's brother was also killed in the blast, reports said.

Harnai District Commissioner Abdul Salam Achakzai said that five to six kilogrammes of explosives were planted in Razzak’s car, Geo News reported.

The leader and his brother were  en route to  Pishin for the party’s rally when the incident occurred.

Security forces reached the spot and started investigation into the matter.
