Pakistan: 3 people, including FC soldier, die in Quetta grenade blast

Quetta: At least three people, including a Frontier Corps (FC) soldier, were hurt in a grenade attack in Quetta city of Pakistan on Sunday, media reports said.

According to police, the attack took place when FC personnel were conducting snap checking, reports Dawn News.

Two persons riding a motorcycle hurled a hand grenade which exploded near the FC checkpoint. As a result, an FC soldier and two pedestrians were injured. The attackers escaped, the newspaper reported.

Security forces cordoned off the area.

The injured people were shifted to hospital.

No group has claimed responsibility for the incident so far.
