Islamabad, Mar 27 (Xinhua/UNI) Pakistani security officials said on Tuesday that four terrorists were killed by detonating their explosives after security forces conducted an operation in Pakistan's southwest Balochistan province, local media reported.

Balochistan Home Secretary Haider Shikoh said at least four security personnel sustained injuries during an exchange of fire when a house in the Naseerabad area of the province was raided over the presence of terrorists, according to the reports.

He said the terrorists began firing at the security officials when they reached the house, forcing the latter to retaliate with full force.

After the exchange of fire, the terrorists, including a woman, blew themselves up upon finding no way out to escape.

According to a senior local police official, a house right next to the terrorists' hideout collapsed due to the explosions, leaving four persons inside that house injured.
All the injured people were shifted to hospital, where several among the injured were reported to be in a critical condition.

The area surrounding the terrorists' hideout was sealed off as a combing operation went underway in the area following the raid.
