Dhaka: Bangladeshi photographer Anwar Hossain found dead

Dhaka, Dec 1 (IBNS): Popular Bangladeshi photographer and cinematographer Anwar Hossain was found dead in a hotel in Bangladesh capital Dhaka on Saturday, media reports said.

Police recovered the body after breaking open the door to a room at the Hotel Olio Dream Haven on Panthapath, Sher-e-Bangla Nagar Police Station inspector Abul Kalam Azad told bdnews24.com.

The cause of the death is still not known.

Hossain was the winner of more than 60 international awards in photography.

He was the cinematographer of the film Shyamol Chhaya directed by Humayun Ahmed.

Hossain has also filmed 15 fictions and 30 documentary films.
