Beijing: Chinese Police have prevented students from offering flowers to Henan Flood victims on the first anniversary of the calamity.

Recently, a video has been shared on Telegram showing students trying to offer flowers and express their grief in a public space but they were obstructed by the police, ANI reported.

Non-mainstream HK media stated that offering flowers or paying tribute has been prohibited, according to unofficial messages received by people in areas of Zhengzhou, the news agency reported.

According to the local media, the flood started on 20 July last year and surprisingly there is no mention of it in the Chinese media, ANI reported.
