Bus mishap in Nepal leaves 26 hurt

Kathmandu, Nov 7 (IBNS): A bus, which was carrying school children and teachers, overturned in Bharatpur Metropolitan City-6 in Chitwan district of Nepal and left at least 26 people injured, media reports said on Wednesday.

The bus (Na 6 Kha 9366) carrying the students and teachers at Madi-based Someshwor Secondary School, skidded off the road and overturned injuring 26 persons, at Pullar today, police told The Himalayan Times.

Police told the newspaper the injured people were shifted to Chitwan Medical College, Bharatpur, for treatment. 

The mishap occurred when the students were returning from Janakpur.
