Blast rocks Pakistan's Balochistan, 1 dead

Islamabad, Feb 24 (IBNS): An explosion hit Pakistan's  Balochistan's Dera Murad Jamali city on Sunday and left one person killed, media reports said.

The blast left nine others injured.

An improvised explosive device planted in a motorcycle parked outside a shop in the Mazdoor Chowk area detonated, leaving one person dead and nine others injured, police officer Hyder Shah told DawnNewsTV.

The victims of the blast are civilians.

The police could not ascertain the exact cause of the blast.

The wounded people were taken to hospital for treatment.

As per Dawn News report, a total of 119 people — including 15 police personnel — were killed and 114 injured in terrorism-related incidents in Balochistan during 2018.
