Bangladesh: Explosion in Kamrangirchar house leaves five family members injured

Dhaka: FIve members of a family, including two children, suffered burn injuries after an explosion triggered fire  in their house in Kamrangirchar area of Bangladesh capital Dhaka city on Friday, media reports said.

The incident took place on the ground-floor flat of a two-storey house in Kamrangirchar’s Siletta Bazar area at around 3:45am, police tld Dhaka Tribune.

The survivors were rushed to  Sheikh Hasina National Institute of Burn and Plastic Surgery for treatment.

The survivors were identified as Abdul Matin, 40, his wife Yasmin, 35, their nine-year-old and five-year-old daughters, and Yasmin’s nephew Raihan, 25.
