Afghanistan: Three US soldiers killed in IED blast

Kabul, Nov  27 (IBNS): Three US service members were killed and four others, including a contractor, injured in an IED blast close to Afghanistan's Ghazni city, media reports said on Tuesday.

The wounded service members and contractor were evacuated and are receiving medical care, reported Pajhwok Afghan News.

In accordance with US Department of Defense policy, the name of the service members killed in action are being withheld until 24 hours after notification of next of kin is complete, the news agency reported quoting NATO Resolute Support (RS) mission statement said.

Afghanistan is witnessing several terrorism-related attacks in recent times.
