Kabul: The Afghanistan government sent four diplomatic envoys to run the Islamabad-based embassy and three consulates in Peshawar, Karachi, and Quetta, media reports said.

Mullah Muhammad Shekib is appointed as the first secretary of charge d’affair and acting Afghan ambassador, and Hafiz Muhibullah, Mullah Muhammad Abbass, and Mullah Muhammad Rasool were appointed as consuls in Peshawar, Karachi, and Quetta respectively, Khaama Press reported.

Kabul-based Pakistan embassy issued visas to the diplomats.

It is rumored that Pakistan is not the only country where the Taliban have sent their diplomats but they have similar arrangements in Qatar and Saudi Arabia, Khaama Press reported.

However, none of the nations have recognized the government.
