Afghanistan: Roadside bomb hit police vehicle in Nangarhar, 2 killed

Kabul, Apr 8 (IBNS): A roadside bomb hit a police vehicle in eastern Nangarhar province of Afghanistan on Monday which left at least two people, including a police officer, killed, media reports said.

The blast left five people injured.

Nasrat Rahimi, deputy spokesman for the Ministry of Interior (MoI), told Pajhwok Afghan News the blast targeted the police vehicle in limits of the 3rd police district of Jalalabad, the provincial capital, of at around 7:00an.

The wounded person are said to be in stable condition.

No group has claimed responsibility for the incident so far.
