Kabul/Doha/UNI/Sputnik: A fifth plane carrying humanitarian aid from the United Arab Emirates landed in Kabul on Wednesday, a source at the airport told Sputnik.

The aircraft was carrying 30 tonnes of food and medicines, the source said.

Last week, Afghanistan received 60 tonnes of humanitarian supplies from the UAE.

The package was reportedly transported aboard a plane carrying the UAE officials for meetings with the Taliban (a terrorist group, banned in Russia).

The aircraft was the first to land in Kabul since the foreign military withdrawal, which was completed on August 31.
