Afghanistan: Explosion rips through border police vehicle in Mazar-e-Sharif, 1 killed

Kabul, May 1 (IBNS): At leas one person was killed as an explosion ripped through  the vehicle of the border police forces in Mazar-e-Sharif city of Afghanistan, media reports said on Wednesday.

A spokesman for Balkh Police Headquarters Adilshah Adil told Khaama Press that the incident and said the explosion was triggered by a magnetic bomb planted in police vehicle. 

He told the news agency that the body of a border policeman who lost his life in the explosion has been shifted to hospital. 

Two people were reportedly injured in the incident.

No group has claimed responsibility for the incident so far.
